Cicada 3301 later known as Kent Korihisa is the person behind Cicada's Quests.
He first appeared in the year 2012, then again in 2036. Cicada from 2036 differs from the one from 2012 in one particular way: his challenges often result in dangerous public incidents. His real goal is to find "highly intelligent individuals". As of 2037 there have been four major incidents as a result of Cicada's quests.
